Chinese Academy of Sciences in December 31, 2010 approved the establishment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, environment and application of Microbiology key laboratories, relying on the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chengdu Institute of biological sciences.
Environmental and applied microbiology laboratory is a major environmental pollution control of the countrys major needs, aimed at national cleaner production, energy saving and regional pollution control key scientific and technical issues, to carry out environmental microbiology and pollutant biological treatment, microbial green catalytic process and mechanism, biomass waste microbial transformation and process control of high technology research.
